Features
TECATOR PAI (Torlon) is one of the highest performing thermoplastics on the market. Under extreme temperatures TECATOR PAI offers the outstanding ability to retain its mechanical strength, stiffness & creep resistance, showing superior dimensional stability at 260°C. It offers wide performance capabilities & is proven in a broad range of applications.
TECATOR PAI (Torlon) is available in three grades; TECATOR Standard 5013, TECATOR Bearing Grade 5031 & TECATOR GF30 (glass filled). Each offer different mechanical, thermal or electrical properties to suit specific application requirements. These properties often allow for metal parts to be replaced offering weight savings that have potential to drive lower cost systems.
Automotive & gear manufacturing, aerospace or vacuum technologies, glass industry for parts handling hot glass. Suited for electrical or electronics industry. Typical applications: pump parts, piston rings, bearing cages, high load-low speed bearings, welding nozzle tips, gears, compressor vanes, general purpose wear & friction parts.
