Supply Services is a NZ-owned engineering business specialising in high-performance plastics and precision-machined components for industrial and engineering applications.

We are a growing market leader with continued investment in advanced CNC machinery and technology.

We're looking for an experienced CNC Programmer / Operator to join our Mount Maunganui team.

This is not a repetitive production role. You'll work on a wide variety of custom components and engineered solutions, programming, setting, and operating modern CNC machine tools to manufacture high-quality parts for customers across New Zealand.

What you'll be doing

You'll be involved in:

  • CNC routing and machining of engineering plastics and composite materials
  • CAM programming, machine setup, and optimisation
  • Programming and operating 3-axis, 3+C axis, and 5-axis CNC machine tools
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD models
  • Developing machining processes for complex components
  • Prototype, one-off, short-run, and repeat production work
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, accuracy, and productivity

What we're looking for

Ideally, you will:

  • Hold a trade qualification in Joinery, Cabinetmaking, Carpentry, Wood Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related trade
  • Have strong CNC programming and operating experience
  • Be proficient with CAM software
  • Have experience programming and operating 3+C axis and/or 5-axis CNC machine tools
  • Be confident working from CAD models and technical drawings
  • Have excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Have a practical, solutions-focused attitude
  • Work well both independently and as part of a team
  • Be reliable, organised, and willing to learn
  • Experience machining engineering plastics would be advantageous
