Engineering Plastic Materials
Our range of amorphous or semi-crystalline engineering thermoplastics are generally suitable for applications up to 120°C. Engineering plastic materials tend to be of medium cost, with moderate temperature resistance, mid-range strength, and exhibit good impact and chemical resistance. Our selection in NZ encompasses cast and extruded Nylons PA6 and PA66, Acetal POM, PBT, PET and Polycarbonates. Additionally, modified grades of all materials are available.
Cast Nylon PA6C
TECAST T natural cast nylon offers a combination of good mechanical properties, excellent bearing and wear characteristics, and the large-size capabilities of the casting process.
Cast Nylon PA6C MoS2 Filled
TECAST T MO black is a cast nylon material modified by the addition of molybdenum disulphide (MoS2). The addition of MoS2 brings about an increase of strength without deterioration of toughness.
Cast Nylon PA6C Oil Filled
TECAST L is a cast nylon polyamide modified with a special oil lubricant, which is particularly suitable for sliding applications, and in dry running conditions.
