TECAST T natural cast nylon offers a combination of good mechanical properties, plus excellent bearing and wear characteristics. The cast polyamide’s fatigue resistance, noise damping ability, corrosion resistance, and light weight makes it quite versatile.
Size
Due to the casting process TECAST T nylon is available in a wide range of sizes in rod, tube and sheet. It can even be cast into semi-finished parts.
Applications
TECAST T cast nylon is ideal for metal replacement applications such as bearings, gears, sheaves, and sprockets. At one-eighth the weight of bronze, TECAST is easier to handle and maintain than most metals, which it typically replaces in industrial wear applications.
