Cast Conveyor Chains
Cast conveyor chains from CAN-AM Chains are available in either malleable iron, cast steel or a combination of both. Available in H class cranked link or C class straight sidebar. C class combination chains have carbon steel outer side bars which allow welding of attachments. Cast conveyor chains are also available in rooftop variants.

Malleable Iron, Alloy Steel and Manganese Steel
Various materials are used for the chain depending on the application. Malleable iron for light duty, alloy steel for high strength and abrasion resistance and manganese steel for its toughness and work hardening properties.
