ABS has amazing impact resistance, toughness, stiffness, machinability & low moisture absorption. With a long term service temperature of 75°C, ABS is a great material choice for a wide range of applications.

Balanced Properties

ABS plastic is a material that offers balanced characteristics making it suitable for mechanical, chemical & electrical applications. ABS can be thermoformed, welded & bonded. Along with its low density, ABS is electrically insulating, has great chemical resistance & has great dampening properties.

ABS has great machinability & can be machined into any number of components. ABS plastic can be thermoformed, with fantastic retention of mold details, as well as being heat formed. ABS is material that can be welded & painted making it a versatile material option for many fabricated applications.

Applications

ABS can be used in a variety of applications such as machined parts, instrument panels, handles, automotive parts, prototypes, pipes, fittings, faceguards & refrigeration components. ABS plastic is not UV stable or weather resistant.
