PPS Plastic
PPS plastic (polyphenylen sulfide) is a thermoplastic polymer offering a range of properties including exceptional chemical resistance, high mechanical strength even at temperatures over 200°C & good dimensional stability with low moisture absorption. No known solvents dissolve TECATRON PPS plastic at temperatures below 200°C. Available in reinforced grades.

TECATRON PPS plastic offers long-term heat resistance even at continuous temperatures of 200°C & excellent resistance to moisture absorption, offering strength even in hot water applications. TECATRON PPS has the second highest rating for chemical resistance to acid, alkalis & solvents after fluoropolymers.
Additives & Modifiers
TECATRON PPS plastic is available in modified grades to change the physical & mechanical properties such as glass filled to increase rigidity & strength, a combination of PTFE, graphite & carbon additives for wear & bearing applications. High purity & modified grades available for the semiconductor industry.

Compressor & pump parts, high pressure liquid components, electronic sockets, connectors & fixtures, valves, bushings, nozzles, rollers, surgical instruments, fuel & brake systems, chemical mechanical planarisation applications.
