​Roof Top Styles
​A wide range of roof top profiles to suit your application. Industry standard profiles such as universal roof top, unitop, & A/B profiles. Nylon rollers are also available. We can custom manufactured & fit to any requirement. Materials such as steel, malleable iron & engineering plastics such as UHMWPE, Acetal & Nylon.
Applications
Roof tops chains are commonly used in lumber, packing & transfer conveyors, basically anywhere where products must be protected from chain damage. The roof top protects the product from damage from the chain side plates and reduces sliding friction.
Welded Steel Options
​CAN-AM Welded Steel chains provide an economical & superior method for conveying most materials. Standard with heat treated rivets with options for heat treatments & induction hardening. Due to being steel that is easily welded, fitting roof tops & attachments is simple.
​Malleable Options
CAN-AM Malleable Cast chains are available in a range of sizes and styles. Normally larger in size than their welded steel chains for comparable load ratings. Cast rooftop chains can sometimes withstand more vertical impact than welded steel rooftop chain.
​Combination Options
CAN-AM ​Combination chains offer a mixture of both welded steel and malleable cast. They consist of heat treated malleable iron centre links with carbon steel side bars. Ideal for fitting roof tops or attachments. Combination chains are available riveted or pin & cotter construction.
